Character Commission

Before I (regretfully) sold off my Juri 10 head, I commissioned Connie for an art piece of one of my characters from a work in progress short story called "SPLIT". It would have essentially been a representation of the "book cover" if there was one (hypothetically).

Despite the fact I no longer have a Juri 10, it is still possible for me to re-shell that character with one of the dolls already in my collection, my modded Shushu. It probably works out better as the characters are supposed to look reasonably similar so my two Shushus would definitely make the characters work. Unmodded Shushu had always been intended to be the primary protagonist whilst the modded Shushu served as the secondary protagonist.

It would mean I will need to rethink the face up and have them redone but I had planned on doing that anyway next year so it's not a big deal.

When I commissioned the artist, I gave her my Shushu and my Juri 10 as reference for the piece. I think she did a stellar job of bringing to life what I saw in my head.
