Sisters Once More

Weather at the moment is not ideal for taking photos but when the mood strikes, one just has to go with it. Inspiration waits for no man or woman.

Today, I am showcasing the sisters. Somehow, no matter how many incarnations I put them through, they seem to always end up as sisters. I do plan to change their face ups later in the year. I have a different look in mind for them now.

Kianna is the tougher out of the two sisters. She's also harder and colder when the need arises. She has to be given that she is the reluctant leader of the Misfits. She doesn't suffer fools and finds sentimentality a waste of time. She's definitely the shoot first, ask questions later type of gal.

Olivia is the softer of the two. She is more willing to believe that there is at least a smidgen of good in even the worst of people. She believes in karma and lives her life accordingly. She is not naive enough to trust blindly but she is more open to it.

Kianna: You need to be less trusting of others. Not everyone out there is here in this world to do you any favours. Most will sooner chew you up and spit you out than give you a helping hand.

Olivia: You need to be more trusting. When did you get so hard Kia? Where is the sister who used to clean my scrapped knees and bandaged my injuries? What happened to you out there in the Wildlands?

Kianna: You don't want to know. Life is full of lessons and most of them are harsh. Get used to sleeping with one eye open if you want to survive. The world we used to know is long gone. Better get used to it. Now, take the damn gun, aim at that bottle and try again.

Olivia: I don't like guns.

Kianna: Too bad. If you don't know how to use one, then you're as good as dead out there. I'm not always going to be there to rescue you like tonight. Now, again.
