My Seven Things:
1. I dance around in my kitchen when I wash up the dishes to Lenka. Can't resist a good beat.
2. I have had two short stories published in Antipodean SF.
3. I'm currently trying to start a family.
4. I've been a huge fan of The Sims since it first came out "back in the day". The game is addictive, fun and I get to build and design the house of my dreams (without having to worry about money).
5. I love watching renovation and cooking shows.
6. I recently started getting acupuncture. For someone who hates needles, I find it relaxing.
7. When I first moved out with my husband (then boyfriend), I had the housemate from hell, literally. I had to call the cops on her and then evict her after she tried to start a physical fight with us (after whacking me upside the head with a massively big phone book.)

Thanks for nominating me for this! I know what you mean about renovations though. I like the idea of renovating an entire house but, boy, it would drive me insane. Although having said that, we're actually in the process of building two additional rooms downstairs at the moment and then renovating our upstairs bathroom after that's done. Hubby has plans for verandah extensions too and we need to renovate the external stairs to our top landing so ... I see a bit of reno in my future.

I am addicted to cooking shows too. If I could get any one channel off of cable it would be foodnetwork. I'm too cheap for that though XD

DeleteWatching the cooking shows though always makes me hungry! But sometimes, I have managed to try and cook some of the dishes myself and they taste really nice.
lol I hate cooking >.< but for some reason love to watch the shows. I'm more of a chef fangirl I think than most other celebrities....I got to see Alton Brown when he was in town for his show...most amazing thing ever!
