Jaedan

Another makeover. This time, I even attempted my first style cut and I think it turned out a lot better than I thought it would. This was an old wig I had (I think it is fake fur or mohair) that was a long style wig. I decided to cut it to a shorter style to match the character.

Jaedan is my grunge tomboy doll. Jeans and shirts is normally what she prefers to wear, comfort over fashion. At least that's how she will start out. Her story follows pretty closely the "Ugly Duckling" arc; forever competing with the perfect pristine image of her dead twin, Maiya. She gets pulled into the mystery behind her sister's death (and subsequent sightings) when the new boy, Nikolos comes to town and starts digging where he shouldn't be.

For now, I think she will be keeping the hairstyle. I might experiment a bit though and maybe mess it up a bit with my fingers to give a more "just-out-of-bed" appearance. The shirt is temporary. I have something more grungy in mind for her if I can actually find what I am looking for.

    1. I agree with you there. It is a shame as I love tomboy girls. They can look a bit rough and messy and it's perfectly okay.

      Thank you!

  3. I saw her on Flickr, you did a great job cutting that wig! She looks great. I love cutting wigs, I usually do that instead of selling them. It's kind of fun to make new styles.

    1. Thanks! I think I am going to get addicted to wig cutting. And you know, what a great idea! I have wigs I don't want right not but maybe I will try to give them a new style.
