The Return of Tobias

I definitely have the photo bug lately. It's actually quite nice because for a few months there, I really wasn't in the mood to do anything with any of my hobbies. I've been so focused on my IVF journey and its continual failure that it's nice to be able to pick up these dolls again and be reminded that there are things that make me happy.

And of course, nothing makes me smile more than getting make-overs for my dolls, even if this particular one was a necessity due to my own clumsiness and lack of knowledge when it comes to removing piercings. (I will not be experimenting with those again!)

Tobias came back from Ticuk and I am loving how he turned out.

His character is still a work in progress but his full name is Tobias Grey. He is the half-brother of Deirdre Quinn (same father, different mothers). I'm kind of redeveloping the world my SD doll characters reside in at the moment. (I love world building). It's a very urban-fantasy influenced world in a nutshell with a bit of sci-fi tech thrown in for good measure. I really can't help mixing genres. It's just how things tend to work out for me.

I do know for a fact that despite their very different upbringing, Tobias and Deirdre are close siblings and wouldn't hesitate to help the other out in a tight situation. Tobias bears absolutely zero jealousy or grudge against his half-sister despite his own mother's constant badgering. They also have Xavier to thank for their fortunate meeting. Xavier has always been like a big brother to Tobias and the engagement to his half-sister has made that a reality.

Xavier's death hit both siblings hard.
