Beads of delight

I know I've been posting a lot more to the blog lately ... truth is, I find myself suddenly with a lot more free time these days which is great I guess. It means I can finally tackle all those back-burner projects I've had hanging around for the past few years. Not so great in other ways but that's a whole other story (and not meant for this blog of fun!)

Today's quick project was making Deirdre some bracelets.

They're not the most difficult bracelets to make but at least now, she finally has some handmade jewellery. I think she also needs a strand of choker pearls and a really girly dress to make her feel a bit more feminine. She tends to mostly hang out in jeans and sweaters. Our Deirdre is a very casual young woman more concerned with comfort than looking super pretty. So... I wonder what she'll think when she gets soul possessed by Evelyn Warren, who is quite aware of her own femininity and how to use it when she needs to with great effect.

Evelyn is my incoming Delf Chiwoo head who will share Deirdre's body. I sort of took that literally when I created her character. I'm really hoping she doesn't take a long time to arrive. But at least it gives me a bit of time to get her wig and clothing together.

Another photo of the bracelet.

And just because I love taking photos of Deirdre when she's out.

  1. Lovely bracelets! ♥ Deirdre seems to be happy that she got some new jewellery x3 Even if bracelets are quick and simple to make, I think they make nice accessories and can really bring out the doll's personality!

    1. That is true. I like making jewellery for the dolls, I just never get around to it much these days because of the long list of things I still want to accomplish.

  2. The bracelet looks great Alasse, and I love that wig you have on Deirdre, sort of had a craving for carrot red hair since I decided that my incoming iMdas would be red heads! Enjoy the spare time, it doesn't happen often. :)

    1. I am glad I managed to order that wig when I did as it was one of the Leeke special wigs they had up for a limited time. The colour is just so rich and gorgeous. I have noticed this shade of red can be hard to find. I love putting a lot of female dolls in red hair for some reason!
