Delf Chiwoo Arrives

A few posts back, I mentioned that I had purchased a Delf Chiwoo from the marketplace. She arrived Friday afternoon (a lot faster than expected!) She was made in 2006 so has yellowed quite a bit but is a perfect match for my yellowed AOD girl body, so I decided to give her that body and find my AOD Qian girl another body. The resin mismatch between the old AOD white resin and the newer AOD white resin has always bugged me so it's a good opportunity to get Deirdre a new body that will match her better.


The beautiful face up is by Maiya. It's one of the reasons I wanted this head - I love this colourful face up and had admired it when I was browsing for photos of Chiwoo as a girl on flickr. I was pretty stoked to see it up on the marketplace.

As for Deirdre (AOD Qian), I had to adjust her profile while she is waiting for a body. I am not sure when I will be able to get the body or what body to get (will have to sell more dolls I think to get funds for that.)

In the meantime, I introduce Evelyn Warren (or Eve for short), the new governess to Rune. I tweaked her character a little to fit in with the new changes. I'm still not sure on the current wig, it was one I had that no one was using. It looks good on her but there is another style I want to try on her, hopefully in a similar colour.

      Thanks! I love colourful face ups. My modded Shushu has a colourful face up too. Kinda tempted to get all my girls redone with colourful face ups!

      Thank you Xanadu. She is my first Delf so I was not expecting how very different she is to all the other big dolls I have here. Her head is really big, even bigger than the head of my SD17 boy. But it's interesting to see what dolls were like back then and how much they have changed since.
