I'm still admittedly reeling a little from last night's shocking episode of Doctor Who so all I have today is some photos from my photobooks.
Every year, this has become a tradition. Hubby gathers together all the doll and figure photography I have done for the year (it started out for just purely BJDs but now encompasses everything) and creates a photobook for me that he gives me for Christmas. It's interesting to look through them and see which dolls are still around and which have moved on. I haven't had a single book yet where all the dolls shown are all still here, there are usually a few that have found another home.
Do you do anything with the photos you take?
Oh that photobook tradition you and your husband have sounds great! ♥ I've been thinking about gathering some of my favorite photos to a photobook too, but I'd need to go through so many photos that I haven't done that yet ^^;
ReplyDeleteI hope you are able to get your photos into a photobook! They are handy to have. I take them with me to show my family at Christmas what I do with my dolls. They always enjoy looking at the photos, well, at least the in-laws do. My own family still thinks it's weird that I buy these dolls. But I'm used to them thinking I'm weird.
DeleteWhat a lovely tradition! <3
ReplyDeleteIt inspires me to take more photos. This year, I have let the ball drop on that unfortunately.
DeleteYour hubby is so very considerate! :D What a lovely idea!
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to print a photo book of sorts but I first want to take better photos of all my dollies who are sadly still in my hometown xD;
The photobooks are really handy to have and make nice coffee table books too. It must be hard not having all your dolls with you!
DeleteI love these books Alasse. I did the same thing with my teddy bears. :) I intended to do a complete photo story in one of them too but just haven't managed to find the time yet. GULP!
ReplyDeleteHugs,

I love that you can create your own photo books these days and they aren't incredibly pricey to do it either which is always a bonus. Hubby uses Officeworks and we've found the quality quite good. And it's easy to do. The software is free to download and it's pretty user friendly.
DeleteWow, a photo story would be interesting for one of these books. Hope you get a chance to do that!
