I'm talking about Rose Quartz Sahra from the Twinkle a la mode line. For those of you who have been reading my blog, you will already know the reason I got this girl was her very strong resemblance to my big Obitsu girl Lira.
I was really excited so didn't end up doing a proper box opening of her. You just get to see the "after" photos. Most Pureneemo dolls tend to come with a standard set of things. Rose Quartz came with only one extra pair of hands but that's okay as I already have a few different hand gestures from other dolls.
Lira really loves her new doll. She is slightly different so not a true "Mini Lira" but the essence of her I feel is quite evident. I have to admit, I didn't think much of her outfit from the promo photos but in person, it's actually quite lovely and nice quality. I adore the little head accessory she has.
I'm sure many of us find this scene a bit familiar.

And just because I totally dig her new glasses. I have to admit, I didn't intend for her to have a short wig but I don't mind the look on her. I still may upgrade to a longer style at some point.
Speaking of Obitsu, I found some more updates on their new body. Just click on this link and scroll down for some great photos of the new 27cm Obitsu body. I really love the aesthetics of this body and I can't wait to see what heads come with it. I'd love to get one.
And if you scroll down even further, a tan version of Mafuyu (the girl I have in normal skin). She is so pretty in that colour. Shame she's limited and most likely only available at the Wonder Festival they mention in that post. I'm really loving the direction Obitsu have been heading towards lately. I can't wait to see what else they have in store for us!

ReplyDeleteBut I understand wanting long hair for your cute girls,, when I see old photos of Ailene I miss her long hair hahaha, I might get her a long wing at some point, but I love the short hair on her too, it's so ahrd to choose when the doll is pretty on anything right? and Lira looks good with anything :D! So happy to see She still uses the scarf~ her eyes really pop over the lilac :)
Oh Lira loves the scarf. She never leaves home without it! I'm pretty happy she got her own doll to play with though. I think we shall be naming the new girl Ruby. I really need to do more photos of my dolls playing with their dolls, figures etc.
DeleteI love that first photo Alasse! They look so good together, and the short hair and glasses really suit Lira so well. Long hair is nice but it can get quite messy sometimes.

I find with me anyway, long hair is hard to style because it can ... crink up when you have it in one style too long if that makes sense! Short hair is easy to manage and doesn't require a lot of styling which is what I love about it!

I was really surprised at how closely these two dolls resemble each other. And they're not even from the same company which is pretty neat. I love finding little surprises like this.

ReplyDeleteOHhh, new 24cm OB pics! I am also very excited to see that one :D Though I am a little sad it's only 24cm, I was hoping for an updated 27cm body!
I need to take photos of my doll taking photos of her doll. That would be neat actually.
DeleteAh I missed the height of that new body. I thought it was 27cm! But still, it's not a bad body. I like the aesthetics of it and it seems to have a good range of posing ability. Still no news as to when the projected release date will be though.
