I got this lady when I went up north for a holiday but haven't really had much of a chance to post her previously, so this is a belated introduction to the newest addition to the Fashion Doll line.
Let me introduce Avaline, a musical theatre actress. She is a Barbie Black Label Line / The Barbie Look. I used Avaline to enter a photo contest at Minimagine. Have a gander at the photo contest and if you're interested, I encourage you to go ahead and enter.
These photos are the extras that I took after I did the photo for the contest.
She already looks like a star here.
She is certainly a lovely elegant doll. She came with some little props, teacup and saucer as well as a plate with a sweet pastry on it and a menu. I think her face screening is among the loveliest I've seen from Mattel. I can see this lady in long sparkling dresses. Will need to figure out how to make one of those Oscar awards for her to hold.
Hi Alasse!
ReplyDeleteShe's very pretty and beautifully dressed, I certainly can see why she stole your heart. There's no contest photos up yet only the rules etc., I hope you win. :)
Hugs,
X
The photos don't go up until October 1st I think but I thought I'd put the link to actual contest there in case anyone was interested in entering. It can be any doll, not just fashion dolls. The only criteria is to have the number 4 somewhere in the photo. I'm hoping a lot of people enter as I'm really curious to see what other creative ideas people did for the number 4. I had a few ideas to choose from but I ended up going with one that I liked but I think I will do the others anyway as extras and post them up on my blog.
DeleteShe has a real 50 and 60s vibe about her, this doll and I simply adore that.
Avaline is really pretty, I love Barbies that are not overly smiley the most to be honest!
ReplyDeleteI love her elegant props too x3
Me too, I love her subtle face ups. That cheesy Barbie grin does kind of get a little tiring after a while!
