Mad Monday

Suffering from a lack of sleep and Monday -itis for most of the day until I did a quick sketch of Josef who perked me up a bit, enough to take a few quick snaps of him.





Is it just me or does this photo look like he's about to caress someone's face? Such a photogenic boy.

I really need to get him another set of clothes. He's really hard to shop for because of his unusual body proportion. I got him on the very lanky, very thin Rhythmos body so most 70cm clothing tends to be a bit baggy on him as he's not really very muscular or broad except in the shoulders. Ah Josef, you really are a pain sometimes!

      I was able to sleep much better. I have the next two days off work so I'll either be working on face ups or sewing. Love to finish off Lara Croft so I may end up working on her if it rains like it has been.

      Dollshe have the best sculpted hands. Can you imagine if they ever decided to release YO-SD sized dolls?

    Oh Alasse please don't chastise Joseph, he is such a sweetheart. Out of all the boy dolls I have seen, his face sculpt is still my favourite. I think it is so expressive, sometimes he looks kind, yet almost wistful and other times he has real attitude. Your right about that last photo, perhaps he was trying to tell you he's sorry you can't find him any clothes, but it's not his fault is it?

      I think you're perfectly right Xanadu. He really does have such changing expressions. I do that about him the most. No it isn't his fault that I can't find clothes for him, I'm just too fussy with what I want him to wear most likely!

    Josef is the best! Taobao has some clothes for the lankier doll shapes I'm sure! I've purchased some before, especially the store called "green time" if I recall correctly!
    Hope you'll get plenty of rest (it's a bit hard here with the 2nd typhoon within a week approaching o_O )

      I normally just buy stuff from Sadol for him as I find their male body is very close in measurement to the Dollshe body.

      I haven't been watching the news but that sounds quite serious! I hope you are all right. Are typhoons common there? Stay safe and let us know when you are able that you're okay. Will be thinking of you!
