Box Opening: Silver Shine Fashion Teen Mallory Martin

My first 16" fashion doll by Integrity Toys (Poppy Parker Fashion Teen Model), Mallory Martin arrived today. I purchased her second-hand and nude (without her original outfit or accessories).

She was gorgeous in both the promo photos and the sales photo from the seller and doubly so in person. I was pretty blown away by this doll.

Her box was the size of an MSD box. This was the logo on the front. Unlike an MSD box though, hers was a lot lighter.

Wrapped up. The seller actually included a lovely gift of a red knitted dress which I really appreciated as I had nothing for this girl to wear. I still don't have any shoes for her so I will have to hunt those down. MSD clothing was too big for her.

I love that both the 16" and 12" Poppy Parker dolls come with this neat little tag on their wrist.

Oh my, her feet! So posable. Ankle, feet and toes. Wish they did the 12" Poppy Parker like this.

She did have a tiny little scuff mark on her right eyebrow that kind of looks more like a reflection from the light. It's no biggie. I can fix it by adding a bit of acrylic paint although hubby says it makes her unique.

Freed from her packaging. She's so stunning.

A few more photos of her ...

She's so photogenic. She's wearing the knitted red dress gift from the seller.

I also took a quick comparison photo for sizing.

From screen left to screen right: Minifee Shushu, Poppy Fashion Teen Model, ITBE (roughly same size as the FR line) and Poppy Parker (Misaki is the same height as Poppy). As you can see, 12" Poppy is slightly shorter than the ITBE and FR girls.

I really love the 16" height. Now I just need to get more outfits for her. And shoes. She must have shoes.

I've also updated the Fashion Royalty Profile page. I don't think I will really have any major stories involving the 16" collection (I'm thinking I will get a Poppy Parker in the 16" size and then wait to see if IT will release a 16" male). I only want about 3 in the 16" size. But you never know ... I've set a number before and completely ignored it.

  1. I said it on IG already but I think she looks even more amazing in your photos~ that face is gorgeous!!! And so cool you got a dress with her. Photos of her turned out great!!

Thanks for the comparison, I'm surprised Poppy Parker is shorter! Your lilac haired girl always makes me happy :D!! I've seen on ebay she goes for quite a lot considering people sell her totally naked and sometimes not even with her original body or missing stuff (like lashes). At least that helps to restrain myself to Momokos and now pure neemos :P

    1. I think I am going to have to bite the bullet and try and sew for her. I am having a hard time finding clothes for this size!

The Lilac Poppy was one of the extra heads along with a redhead poppy that came with a black haired Poppy set back in 2015. I almost got that set as I was with the W Club then too. I am regretting now that I didn't jump on that. But I do know this year's Poppy line sounds like it's going to be amazing so better start saving up now.

I was super super lucky to get her head for the price I did. Right place, right time.

  2. Congrats! She is so pretty, I especially like rooted eye lashes for some reason x3 which made me interested in the Silkstone Barbies :O

I love seeing the comparisons also, you could do a line-up from tiniest to biggest one day perhaps? :D

    1. Oh did you see the poseable Silkstone Barbie girls? I'm really tempted to buy one. Apparently most Silkstones will be released on that body I think going forward.

Tiniest to biggest, no problem. I will add that to my to do list. I'm assuming you are referring to all the doll lines?

  3. Congratulations, she is so stunning! And of course a lady needs some shoes!
I like the feet, really posable - she can "stand" on her toes was my first thought.
Agree with your husband, the little detail makes her unique!

    1. I find it really strange that only the 16" dolls have these feet though. I think it'd be really cool if the 12" dolls had similar feet. Ballerina possibilities!!
