She will be Mallory's best friend. Now if they release a 16" male for this line, I would most likely add him to this collection but three is more than enough for me in this size.
Keeping with the "friends" theme of this post ... some photos I took of Mia and best friend, Madison. I think they are probably looking up spells for Madison.
And one of Willow and best mate, Saskia who happens to be Madison's younger sister. Willow is also Mia's younger sister. You would never take the more serious Saskia to be the kind of person who would be best friends with the chirpier and more upbeat Willow but opposites attract.
I also recently updated the Pureneemo profile page. It had needed a big overhaul for a while. The only one missing at the moment is my Little Match Girl Chiika. Sadly, my pink hair re-root was a big fail so I'm having to make a wig for her instead in the same colour. Hopefully it works out this time. The problem with the re-root was that her scalp showed through everywhere. It seems to be a regular problem I have with re-roots. The number of holes just don't seem to cover the scalp properly, at least with the type of hair I use for re-roots. So either the hair is too thin, I don't have enough hair for each plug or it's designed to frustrate people who want a different hair colour for the doll. So once she's done, I will complete her profile. I need to see her overall look first to get a feel of the type of personality and character she is.
Congrats on the new girl!! The dolls in that size are increasing so fast~ Love her face. I have always loved Poppy Parker's face much more than any other integrity doll, her eyes and especially her lips are just so classic and gorgeous. The new girl is stunning! Hope she arrives fast!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your pure neemos profiles, I'm very much in love with the seasons, so cute!!
It's too bad about the rerooting, pink hair was looking lovely!! I'm sure you will solve it in a gorgeous manner though, be either a wig or a second re rooting :) you are very ingenious!
DeleteI will take a comparison photo of 12" and 16" Poppy Parker for you. I don't believe the face sculpt was changed, just blown up but I did read somewhere that some of the earlier ones may have had wider jawlines.
DeleteAww thanks for the kind words. I hope I don't stuff up the wig. I've done that before!
Congratulations Alasse, she is quite stunning to look at and very stylish. Sorry about the re-root though, I always used to do the opposite and end up with a real bouffy hair-do. Hope you have better luck with making her a wig.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
X
The ones I have re-rooted and they've turned out tend to not sit properly even after I have pour hot water over them. They kind of have a weird kink in them that makes them sit up on the head. It would be nice if I could find wigs that fit Pureneemos though.
DeleteKeep it up, I think rooting hair isn't so easy to get in one go! :O
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new girl and so nice to see your girls all together, they're looking comfortable!
The sad thing about it is how long re-rooting a doll takes so when it doesn't turn out ... it's (for me) 4 days I've wasted just re-rooting. I hate trying something and not seeing a finished product afterwards. It really knocks your confidence!
DeleteCongrats on the new beautiful lady!
ReplyDeleteOh what a bummer with the re-root! I hope that the wig you are making will work out just fine!
Happy new week!
Happy New Week to you too!
DeleteI hope the wig turns out too. If not, then I will just have to face facts that I'm just no good at wig making or re-rooting!
