Being Mr. Moody

I got my order from Alice Collection today after waiting a month. It has the new wig for the leader of my Reckless band plus other bits and pieces. I wanted to try something a little different with him. I added songs from my Playlist. I kind of think Reckless has a similar kind of sound to their music. Is it called 'Grunge Rock'?

Playlist: Swing Swing - All American Rejects | Dirty Little Secret - All American Rejects | Move Along - All American Rejects

Officially introducing you to the lead singer and guitarist of Reckless, Seven. (Yes I changed his name). He tends to change his hairstyle and colour a lot depending on his mood. (Just a weak excuse for me to stick a lot of cool colours on him!). I really want a cuff earring on him without having to put holes in his ears. (Mostly because drilling through resin freaks me the heck out so I'd rather not!) Anyone know who makes those?

On to Mr. Moody's photoshoot...

You know, looking at these photos of him, I just had a light bulb moment about part of his story and the strange thing that is attached to him. I am imagining a scene between Ezekiel and this 'thing/presence' as Ezekiel has an invisible third eye that allows him to see things other people can't.

I am thoroughly intrigued. Better jot this all down before it floats off!

Have a fantabulous week everyone!

  1. I like his new name and wig. Cuff earring? Hm, perhaps you can buy a delicate one for humans and cut it in half to make it smaller. Ha, I think the only grunge band I know was Nirvana. :) But since your boy is in that kind of band, shouldn't he look a bit more scruffy? ;) I can't wait to see other band members.

    1. I recall seeing BJD cuff earrings somewhere not long ago but I cannot remember where I saw them. I should have bookmarked the page but typical of me, I never did. I never listened to Nirvana but I think my husband did. Let's just say he's a neater kind of grunge - at least that's what I'm calling it. And the scruff is in his wig? Hehehe.

Remember when those bands were so popular back in the day? I miss those days. Now there's too much electronic type sounds in music.

    2. Oh yes, the music was much better back then. And the songs HAD the lyrics. Now it's just one sentence or even two words for the whole song.
And I almost forgot (again) to say I like your new header. :)

  2. He's a handsome fellow, and that wig is lovely for him.
I hope you find the ear cuff you're looking for.

    1. Me too. I think he needs some sort of earrings but I do not want to drill into resin, what with the resin dust and all.

  3. Seven is looking pretty cool, ear cuff or not. I don't know where you'd fine one small enough Alasse, maybe ask on DOA, someone on there might know. I like the name you chose for the band, but as soon as I heard his name I thought of Star Trek! LOL!
    Big hugs,

    1. I could try to make an ear cuff myself but downsize it for a doll rather than a human ... it's an idea I guess. You mean the old Star Trek? I've never seen it. Is there a character with that name?

  4. Awww, he looks so sweet and serene... And I really like his wig! Makes him look even more delicate.
About cuff earrings... Maybe on DoA? People there are making so many wonderful things that maybe someone offers them too. I saw at least five sellers with different kinds of jewelry.

    1. Thank you for the suggestion. I will have a look there. It's not a big thing if he never gets one but I think it would complete his overall look.

  5. He looks great. I like this colours on him.
I know that you have to drill in the resin, so you need a proper tools. But that's all I know.
I'm sure you can make this cuff earring by yourself. :)

    1. I will give it a try. I think I will end up having to make it myself. I definitely don't want to drill into resin because of the resin dust. That stuff freaks me out!

  6. A handsome dude! And a great name!
Hope you find something to use as a cuff earring, tell us if you do! :) It is easier to poke holes into vinyl dolls. Using 3D stickers can be a bit boring...

    1. Oh yes, vinyl is so much easier to poke holes into. It's mostly the resin dust that scares me. I could always send his head away for someone else to do it but ... it costs too much money with the shipping and what not.
