Let me introduce 'Regina', a Victoire Roux Version 2 sculpt (the newer one from East 59th Line). She arrived to me a while ago but I just hadn't got around to taking decent photos of her. I'm not sure who she is yet as my IT doll storyline is a bit up in the air right now. I do know the storyline will most likely be a combination of modern and fantasy as always. I'm thinking maybe with a 'Fae' slant or reincarnated Gods.
I felt like taking photos of her in an office type setting. I think it suits her character. I feel like she might be the CEO of a corporation.

Great minds think alike! I thought the same when I was taking the photos of Regina. She really does have that Mad Men vibe.

ReplyDeleteAm loving these photos! The office setting is perfect for Victoire and both those dresses are to die for, especially the white one. (I think there's some inspiration there, which I will save for later). Jade also fits in well with the setting.
Yes a doll selfie page would be a treat and something different. :)

The white dress came with one of my other dolls but I think it looks really nice on her, the colour anyway. Still not sure on the style. Curious about the inspiration. I am quite happy with the new doll. They are just so easy to take out and pose.

ReplyDeleteThat grey dress is so lovely. Not sure where it was from as it was a gift from a friend. Maybe Clear Lan? It looks like the kind of style they would make. I had a lot of fun doing these photos. It's been a while since I did a proper set up.

ReplyDeleteI haven't watched that movie in ages! But yes, I feel like Regina would be a bit strict, running a very tight ship. She seems very no nonsense to me.
DeleteBoth are so elegant and classy! But yes, Jade definitely looks more approachable than Regina (I would be affraid of her ;)). All dresses are lovely, but the white one is my favourite. And the brancelet!
ReplyDeleteRegina is very intimidating. Actually, I think a lot of the IT dolls with strong features seem quite intimidating. Jade has a nice face but who knows what secrets it hides!
