Yesterday, I posted about the last piece of artwork I did for 2019. Today, I wanted to post the very first photo session I did for the first day of 2020.
Today's gorgeous model is Freya.
The New Year begins not with a bang but with a soft sigh. Freya wonders if this will be the year the cat and mouse chase will end. The Detective has been following the tracks of the infamous 'Valkyrie', the cyber world's most notorious hacker. She hadn't meant to leave breadcrumbs for him to follow. She'd just been distracted and the crumbs had been the result.
She has eluded many before him but this one, he's different. He has the feel of someone who knows about the guild. Maybe someone who was a former member. She tries to turn her mind to something else, something less disturbing.
It works for five minutes before her mind circles back to the problem at hand. She decides to give up. She needs to find a way to outsmart him. She loves the thrill of the chase but this one is getting too close for comfort. Perhaps it's time to get help from the guild.
She doesn't enjoy working with them but they have access to resources she doesn't and sometimes, they can be useful. She studies her incognito board, searching for the password that will get her an audience with the Overseer.

Thanks! Freya's outfit is pretty neat. I like the colour on her. I think it brightens up her features a lot. I hope I can post more snippets but I don't have a lot of sets to work with so we'll see how that pans out!
DeleteAwww, Freya się beautiful (I absolutely lovew the hair), and Ginger is so sweet :)! And diorama presents itself perfectly for the story, which I find very intriguing!
ReplyDeleteMe too, although re-rooting that head (it's incredibly hard and I had to keep warming it up to soften the vinyl so I could re-root it!) was time consuming, took way too long and was so difficult, I am glad I stuck with it as I love the end result. In the next snippet, I will introduce The Detective and his assistant.

ReplyDeleteMy first day of new year was lazy. I didn't feel like taking any photos or going out. Instead I was reading some stories by H.P. Lovecraft.
Freya is the hacker :-) The Detective will be introduced in the next snippet. I haven't as yet read any stories by Lovecraft although I keep hearing about him quite a bit so I'm very intrigued.

Happy New Year to you! She's got a pretty smart head on those shoulders but I'm not sure if she'll be able to outsmart The Detective. We will just have to wait and see.

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! Nice to see you here! That outfit colour really is a nice contrast. I haven't done any dioramas in a while. This was just an older one I had made already. I plan to continue to do more but time always gets away from me. Plus juggling so many different hobbies at the same time!
DeleteFreya looks amazing and her mind is filled with a lot of questions. Hope she gets some progress in her case. My New Year was calm - outside with the dog and rest of the family. The days afterwards have been filled with physiotherapy. Happy New Year!
