I Wanna Be A Rock Star

A photo session featuring Jade, an idol and rising star under the management of Olympus Entertainment. She was discovered three years ago on a street corner busking for spare change. It was her voice that attracted the attention of the talent scout.

Thanks to the public relations team, she shot to stardom quite quickly and has become the company's number one Idol. Her story is a work in progress.

Jade is my SuperDuck/Intergity hybrid doll.

I have a full week at work this week so my spare time will be sadly non-existent until the following week where I hope to actually be a bit more productive with my hobbies.

Happy Sunday!

  1. She is such a beauty! Perfect for being an idol! I love the photo with the guitar - the pose is perfect and diorama looks fantastic. Jade's jacket goes perfectly with jungle theme :).

    1. I really love her face. It's very realistic though compared to the other IT dolls I have but that's okay. Would you believe that jacket is a Barbie jacket and it's so well made.

  2. Oh I like the way this story is forming Alasse, she's the perfect doll for a rock star and very photogenic! Gorgeous colours in this diorama, did you paint the chair to go with the "wallpaper" or did chair inspire the "wallpaper"? I love all the photos too!

    1. I often like to write modern stories so the IT dolls are perfect to showcase the contemporary setting. As for the wallpaper, definitely inspired by the chair which came first and then because I made the cushions and seating for the chair, that further inspired me and then I had the good fortune to find this wrapping paper and it seemed like the stars aligned.

    1. I had a lot of fun doing it. I like getting the opportunity to try and pose these dolls. I really want to do one out in the yard soon now that the weather has cooled down a lot.

  5. She does look like a rock star. A rebellious one. Somehow those photos and your story made me think of the song "Into the great wide open" by Tom Petty. :)

    1. I will have to Youtube that song and have a listen. I don't recognise the title. You're always introducing me to new things. Love it!

    1. I like that she suits a lot of different styles. She seems to look good in anything really. Just wish the rooting of her hair wasn't so thin. I am forever having to fix her hair so she doesn't show any bald spots.

  7. I just have to be careful because the head does sometimes fall off if I am a bit too firm with it! Which is amusing in a way!!

    1. She actually reminds me of a game character to be honest. I swear I've seen this face somewhere before. Its a nice face though. I would buy more if I had access to more IT bodies but i don't so she will have to be the only one for now.
