A Bit of Palm Springs

I had bought this adhesive contact a while ago and really wanted to use it so decided to cover one of my foam boards with this. I intend to use this backdrop for BJDs as well. I'm just really into this sort of green plant design at the moment.

I like that  this feels like the room is really high.

She is definitely one of my favourite Poppy versions. I just love the silver hair and bold make up choice for her face. Plus she rocks these leather shorts.

Hope everyone is enjoying their week!

  1. She certainly looks very relaxed and at home. I like the plant-theme. Wallpaper, tiny plants and her blouse- all together in harmony. Nice find!

    1. Thank you. The back drop serves multi-size dolls so it's a good prop to have around.

  2. What a beautiful and cosy interior! Plants and leaves are very fashionable motifs, especially monstera leaf. However I prefer ferns. As for Poppy I like the contrast between her silver hair and magenta lips.

    1. I am very into plants in my interiors lately. Wish I could have more of them inside the house to be honest. I just haven't found anything suitable yet.

    1. It was a fun set up to have. And very simple. I'm glad I bought that tile of carpet back when I did. It has come in handy for a lot of sets!

  4. Oooh ah! I like that background Alasse, very tropical and your right about it giving the illusion of great space. Nice photos too! I'm still decorating. :)

    1. I don't know why but I'm very into tropical lately. Maybe because it makes me feel like I'm in a lush forest instead of a brown wasteland. Because we've had no rain in a while, everything is so dry and dead here right now.

    1. I always feel like I don't have a lot of props, but then I start setting these scenes up and realise I actually have quite a lot!

    1. Yes she certainly does but she has to share with a lot of other dolls sadly. It's a popular room!
