Earlier in the week, a beautiful box arrived for me with lots of goodies from Kamelia. Today, I will showcase some of the Kamelia brand fashion pieces being enjoyed by some of my dolls. But first, let's begin the post with one of my rarely seen Silkstone girls.
On to the main event....
First off is the gorgeous Barbie collection of pieces by Kamelia. Starting from the doll that is standing: Denim Jacket and Denim Pants, Boho Floral Dress, Denim Jumpsuit, Denim Shorts and Green Jacket, Floral Mint Hoodie and White Peasant Style Top.
I think this group are enjoying their new threads. They certainly look like a hip bunch.
The Tonner Collection: Denim Overalls and Denim Dress. There was also a Denim Jacket and Distressed Jeans and Denim Shorts. I sadly had no tops to go with these so couldn't try it on the dolls. I will try and sew some shirts so the other Tonner girls can wear the new Denim threads too.
My Precarious girl. She is wearing a white slip that came with one of the new Tonner girls that arrived weeks ago. I still haven't shown the new girl on the blog because she takes really bad photos. I tried again today but didn't like the photos of her. Maybe she needs a hat or something because her hairstyle is a bit ... bleh.
Pureneemo outfit by Kamelia also. It fits her so nicely and I love the colours on her. This is my Snow Queen Mia. The colours go so well with her.
The Denim Jeans were also made by Kamelia for the Pureneemo dolls however, they fit my Obitsu girl quite nicely too. This is Princess Aria from Lemuria. Her parents thought she was a bit too spoilt so sent her out into the world with an allowance for one year to experience what life was like for the normal people.
It took some time for her to get used to her new living situation - she started out expecting her guardian and bodyguard to do everything for her while she continued to do nothing. Eventually, Meara rebelled and Aria found herself needing to work (on the account she was spending beyond her means) if she wanted something as simple as a nice shampoo.
Let's just say it did her a world of good and some harsh life lessons were learned. Along with some comedic hijinks.
Meara, her bodyguard, guardian and accountant. The experience actually made Aria and Meara real friends by the end of it and they built a genuine friendship with each other. Aria particularly learned to value Meara and appreciate everything that was done for her.
Not the most original story scenario but it was a fun one which is what counts. I really love Meara's delicate face. I hadn't been able to get this wig to work for her until now. I'm glad I kept it around just in case. Girl finally has a head of hair.
That's it for today. Hope everyone had a good weekend.
You (or rather your girls) are lucky. Kamelia is such a talented seamstress, and your girls wear the clothes beautifully. I am a fan of Kamelia's hoodies, and your floral mint one suits the girl with the wild hair style very well.
ReplyDeleteHer hoodies are a really nice design. I love all the fabrics. I really felt the fabric of that hoodie went so well with her hairstyle too.
DeleteI'm not sure I even knew that you have a Silkstone! She's so classy and elegant with her little friend :)! And your girls look fantastic in Kamelia's clothes! All of them seems happy ;)!
ReplyDeleteI have about three Silkstone Barbies. I don't really photograph them a lot as I bought them to display primarily. I have two on the newer body (the articulated one) and one on the old Silkstone body. They are really lovely dolls. Very elegant and classic.
DeleteThumbs up from me too Alasse, bet you had fun dressing all these dolls. :)
ReplyDeleteBig hugs,
X
I always underestimate how long it takes to dress dolls to be honest. But the photos didn't out too bad. Not as nice as I would have liked though.
DeleteYour girls are ready for a new week all dressed up, looking all fancy! Kamelia's clothes are amazing!
ReplyDeleteYes Kamelia always does such professional work.
DeleteKamelia makes wonderful clothing, I'm always amazed by her jeans, they look like the real deal! Your dolls are all so very pretty but seeing one of your pure neemos made me smile hehe
ReplyDeleteThe jeans are very realistic looking. I don't photograph the pureneemos much to be honest. I was even debating getting rid of all of them except one or two. They are cute dolls though and I do love my Snow Queen Mia a lot so she would be one of the ones that would stay.
DeleteI can imagine how happy your dolls are to have so many lovely clothes. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm sure Aria's now a better person who cares also for others instead of thinking only of herself.
It was fun to photograph my Obitsus. They rarely get a chance to be in front of the camera. They are fantastic dolls and the articulation on them really surpasses even that of BJDs in my opinion with flying colours. Some of my resin dolls annoy the heck out of me because their articulation is so subpar.
DeleteI missed that post, can you belive that?! I'm so happy girls like the clothes. I love your photos. And the Snow Queen Mia is just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYes they certainly do. And added bonus, I think the Pureneemo one you made may fit on my new Resinsoul girl too. I have yet to try it on her but that would be awesome if they fit those clothes as the Resinsoul doll is so skinny.
DeleteCan't wait to see it. :)
