Scarfing Around

Last year, I made a swirly scarf for my sister for Christmas and decided it'd be neat to alter this pattern for dolls. I underestimated the time this would take to make but in the end, I didn't mind the results.

The scarf is being modeled by the lovely Kendra.

Winter Warmer

Made this crochet scarf a while ago and haven't got around to posting photos of it yet. I rather like this yarn even though it is hard to crochet with. I think the thickness of it can be used for either MSD or SD but for this shoot, Naiya is modelling it as it shows so well against her sky blue resin.

Plus I don't take nearly enough photos of her. I put some new eyes I got from a friend in her and I rather like how eerie it looks. I do like the white hair on her better than the blue hair but I just need to find a better style I think.

I am still largely experimenting with different types of yarn as I'm not too fussed on the super thin ones. I find it too hard to see my stitches. I'm thinking about offering commission for some of the crochet scarves a bit later in the year when I have more time but not sure about this yet. There are a few crochet things I want to experiment with (crochet pets/robots) for dolls and hats. And I still have to get started on learning how to sew clothing for dolls. Not to mention the sets I still have to build. So many things to do, so little time...
