The Blood Knight
Asuna from Sword Art Online. I really liked this anime, it felt a bit like falling through the looking glass except into a virtual world. The only thing that bugged me was how they treated this character in the second arc story. They took a strong female character and turned her into a damsel in distress, locked in a cage waiting to be rescued. That irked me quite a lot.

That bugged me so much! I really liked the first arc and Asuna was my favorite character. What they did with her in the second arc disappointed me so much.
