So much for only having three Pullips ...

Honestly, look at her. How could I resist? I love the hairstyle. I love the whimsical outfit. I adore her make up (she has really dark smoky eyes) and she'll go so well with my Steampunk Alice.
I did take twenty-four hours to procrastinate on her so I didn't make a snap decision on her. Oh Groove, you really are turning me into a Pullip addict.
Now I have to reorganise the darn display cabinet yet again to fit everyone in...
Just after reading your last entry, this made me laugh :3
ReplyDeleteBe careful, you might end up with 20 or so Pullips like I have. When I used to say I'd only get 1!
She's lovely though, I love the steampunk style dress a lot @o@ I'm a big fan of the stockings especially.
Dolls are like chips, you can never stop at one. I've gone from my "only 3" to "no more than 5". At least I know I will have to stop at 5 as I am fast running out of space in the cabinet.
DeleteWow, 20? That is a cool collection. If you ever have the time, I'd love to see a big shot of them all if you have them lined up together somewhere.
I don't know if you have heard of Omocha Crush but I watch her Youtube videos of her Pullip reviews all the time. She has quite the lovely collection of Pullips as well. In fact, it was her review of Sepia Alice that made me bite the bullet and get her as my first after successfully resisting these dolls for a long time!!
I like that this Pullips' dress has a lot of details to investigate.I think my favourite part is the hat. I love doll hats although I seem to not buy a lot of them for my dolls...
Uh oh, I think you've caught a Pullip bug!! Haahaha! She is a very sweet choice and will look lovely with the others you have Alasse. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's funny, but when I set a limit of 6 on Blythe, I ended up with 20! (thankfully that's reduced down now), and when hubby asked how many BJD's, I said only a couple and look how they have taken over the house!! Limiting has never worked for me, but I really do wish you luck in keeping to your Pullip limit, (she chuckles knowing full well, if you are anything like me, you probably never will).
Sending big hugs,
X
Thanks Xanadu!
DeleteLimits don't always work for me either. I remember when I first started buying bjds, my plan was to get only two, one male, one female ... then it grew to eighteen at one point. But I've managed to cut them down to only thirteen now, one of my favourite "magic" numbers. I also tend to like odd numbers for my collections but that doesn't always work out!
Hubby has said to me no more display cabinets so I can only buy what I can fit into the two I have at the moment. It means a bit of tricky moving around of dolls but I am sure I can make at least one more Pullip fit :-)
She's very pretty!!! And here I thought your first pullip would be also your last lol, though I'm really glad it wasn't! I'm really enjoying the pullip hobby through you XD
ReplyDeleteThat makes two of us! I really thought I'd only get one Pullip and that would be that but Groove is releasing some really nice looking Pullips lately. Not so good for my wallet though!
DeleteWell, I'm happy to hear I can bring the Pullips to you somehow!
