A Parcel and 50-04 Returns

Back from the face up artist Ashley of LovelyDollie.

Obitsu 50-04 Girl

She is currently wearing a temporary wig right now but I am planning to put her in blonde rather than this colour. This is a 9-10inch on her which is slightly big even with a protective cap on so I think I will need an 8-9inch wig. I adore how she turned out, perfect and exactly as I imagined. Sweet and innocent. Still haven't thought of a name for her yet.

My Poppy Parker redressed and posing for a photoshoot. I really love how this one turned out. I think this doll has a really sophisticated look to her no matter what she wears. I need to photography my FR girls more.

I also received a wonderful parcel from Irene today. Lots of really lovely goodies including handmade necklaces and bracelet for Eve as well as some gorgeous roses and lavender that I will use for props. Thank you so much dear! I feel very lucky! There's also some fabric samples which I am looking forward to creating something with.

To conclude, I wanted to share some humour links from the Korean drama I was watching (Falling for Innocence/Beating Again). This is focused on the main male lead, Kang Min-Ho character.
 Part 1 | Part 2

I liked the Korean drama so much that I'm hunting for the DVD version to purchase so wish me luck!

    1. Thanks. She's actually an Obitsu with the 50-04 Mafuuyu head. I'm happy though that she looks a bit like a DD girl!

I feel so lucky. Now to do some creative things with them ...

  2. I love the sweet look on your obitsu girl!!! The face up is amazing and super cute, I'm sure she will look stunning as a blonde.

And I agree, you need to take more photos of your FR girls :D

That's a cute package!!! How nice of her *u*~ love the tiny flowers

I definitelly will watch Falling for Innocence next!! The lead man is so handsome :O! And the videos were funny!! I've watched so many dramas over the years, I do have a few favorites though: "You who came from the stars" is an all time favorite!, "oh my venus!" is kinda new but it was super funny and lovely, except for the last episode XD. Oh and "Coffee prince" was super cute. I also loved "City hunter", I think its based on an anime? I only watched it because I love Lee Min Ho (though my favorite actor is Kim Soo Hyun, He has some nice dramas including "you who came from the stars")

    1. I can't wait to get her a blonde wig as I actually have none in that colour here in the bigger sizes. I will have to start sewing clothes for her though because she's really hard to dress unless you happen to like the Azone 50 clothing which none have really tempted me yet.

Poor FR girls get so neglected these days. I need more clothing for them but they're usually just as pricey if not more than bjd clothing so I have to space out my spending a little!

I feel lucky. So many lovely things in the parcel. I need Eve to model some of them.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on Falling for Innocence. If you can't find it under that name, try Falling for Soon Jung as that's the other name for the drama. Jung Kyung Ho is quite handsome and the character he plays in that, Kang Min-Ho is so adorable. I'm actually watching again and am noticing little nuances in the interactions that I missed on the first watch of this show (now that I know how it ends). It's interesting what you pick up on a second run of a show. (Plus the character he plays has awesome fashion style.)

And funny you should mention those dramas and actors as those were the titles that were mentioned on a few Korean Drama blogs I started reading recently. I have them listed to check out already! I had wondered if City Hunter was based on the anime as I know of the anime.

I started watching One More Happy Ending which is Jung Kyung Ho's most recent drama (started in January this year). So far, one episode in and I'm actually finding it quite funny. I'm digging his character in that too. He seems to be a very diverse actor and does a variety of roles from the more serious like in Heartless City to romance comedy.

It's pretty cool that you watch and like Korean drama too. It's good to find one I like. I watched a few years ago and they certainly weren't of the same caliber as the ones coming out these days.

    2. One more happy ending is in my list since they announced it on drama fever haha :D! I'm watching Coffee house atm, not so good to be honoest, but I need to know how it ends lol After that I'll definitely watch Falling for Innocence, I already found it :)

    1. I wish I could get some things like that here but not so much, at least in my old regional town!

I am still stuck on a name for her. I thought it would come to me once she had a face but no ... still procrastinating.

  4. Oh she is simply lovely Alasse, the face up is perfect! I think she deserves a very feminine name as she looks like she has a softer nature. :)

Poppy Parker is looking very elegant, love how you've styled her.

More pressies, how wonderful that Irene sent you fabric too, see we are all encouraging you to sew. LOL!! It's a lovely parcel of goodies.

    Hugs,
    X

    1. I'm thinking something starting with M would suit her but not sure what yet.

She needs way more dresses though. One day ...

I have such a long list of projects to do! It's been raining so much here lately though that haven't been able to work more on face ups because of not being able to seal them (I do it outside).

  5. Your new girl looks sooo cute! I love the soft pink colors in her face-up, she looks so innocent!

Does Poppy have rooted eye lashes? For some reason I love dolls with that kind of eye lashes (just like the silkstone barbies!)

Soo happy the package arrived safely and I hope the stuff will be of use to you~
Ahh, I agree with FantasyWoods on Coffee Prince! I think it's a classic, a great series for sure~ I also loved "I can hear your voice" !

    1. Innocent, sweet but a bit naive describes her quite well. Now if only I could settle on a name ...

I believe her eyelashes are just glued on rather than rooted. I didn't know that about the Silkstone Barbies. That's interesting because I honestly did not know eyelashes could be rooted!

Everything in the parcel is fabulous. Thank you again! I am going to be using everything from there. I just have to add it to my growing list of doll projects ... hmm that list seems to be getting longer rather than shorter!

I was browsing a Korean Drama blog last night and saw a trailer for a new one coming out called The Vampire Detective. It looks interesting. And there's also a fantasy one called Mirror of the Witch. Not sure when either of those are coming out and haven't seen any trailers yet for the second one but I'll be keeping an eye out.

I do keep seeing Coffee Prince coming up as recommendation on a lot of the Korean Drama blogs so I have added that one to my list too. So much K-Drama to catch up on!

    1. Thank you. I am starting to like the red wig on her myself but lucky this one is a little big and blogs to my bjd girl. Aren't Poppy dolls wonderful? I kind of wish now I got Hippie Dippy Poppy when she was available. Oh well.
