Surprise Parcel : The Colour of Gold

Happy Easter to everyone. It's Easter Sunday here today and the long weekend is almost over. One more day left and it's back to work again. This weekend has been very busy for us here. We've had something on every single day but finally, we have the rest of the weekend to our own devices. Needless to say that has left very little time for me to start on anything productive.

On Thursday, a parcel arrived, just as I was about go take my cat to the vets for her check up. I couldn't open it until after I got home. It was a gift from the ever thoughtful and generous fantasywoods. Thank you my dear!

Don't mind Mila. She decided to photo bomb because she wanted to test out the new sofa. All the girls are excited about this new furniture piece.

The parcel brought so many lovely surprises. The gorgeous gold/white sofa, a huge rement pack of kitchen things (good excuse for me to build a kitchen eh?) - and boy do they look realistic! I will post a closer photo when I have them all opened and set up. Mary Jane shoes for one of the SD girls. I think Deirdre and Eve will be fighting over that. Now I just have to find a girly dress to go with the shoes. A neat overall and shirt for the Pullips (I think they might just fit the Pureneemos too. The shirt fits Momoko.) And look at that fantastic card. I love it. I might scan the front of this card in and get it printed in colour and frame it for Zoe's bedroom.

The Postman Knocks ...

Came home from work today to a lovely surprise from Fantasywoods.

A gorgeous wrapped parcel with so many pretty things in it. (Thank you!) I plan to do a photoshoot later in the week to showcase some of the clothing (models featuring Josef and Eve).

A Surprise

I hadn't realised it had been a while since my last update. Hope everyone is doing well. I wish I could say I was busy with creative doll stuff but sadly that's not been the case. Let's call it a "doll block", similar to the writer's block.

Got a lovely surprise in the mail today from Fantasywoods. (Thank you my dear!)

Some tasty treats, post cards, stickers, a robot themed memo pad (that's going to come in handy!), a lovely box, Totoro (*insert squeal here*), gorgeous necklace, a lovely floral head piece which Isabelle is modelling and a really gorgeous purple scarf (my favourite colour!) which Isabelle is also modelling. I love how fine and delicate this crochet scarf is. She's so talented!

I feel lucky. (I've also already eaten one of the chocolates, yum!).

A Parcel and 50-04 Returns

Back from the face up artist Ashley of LovelyDollie.


She is currently wearing a temporary wig right now but I am planning to put her in blonde rather than this colour. This is a 9-10inch on her which is slightly big even with a protective cap on so I think I will need an 8-9inch wig. I adore how she turned out, perfect and exactly as I imagined. Sweet and innocent. Still haven't thought of a name for her yet.



My Poppy Parker redressed and posing for a photoshoot. I really love how this one turned out. I think this doll has a really sophisticated look to her no matter what she wears. I need to photography my FR girls more.

Of Rune and Kestrel

Received some packages today, one from the other side of the world which came in record time. Possibly the fastest I've received anything from the EU. Our postal service must be working overtime!

One of these was from an overseas friend containing some adorable goodies. I didn't get a chance to take photos of everything because Kestrel decided she wanted to show off her new dress and shoes (and she's chuffed they fit her so well!)

Some updates, a gift and new stomping grounds

Let's start with a pretty picture of a pretty girl in her pretty new dress (more on that after the Read More).

I've updated the pages tab with a Link to this blog page. I know someone had asked about a link button and I've only now just got around to actually making one.

I also have a shiny new gallery at ipernity here. This came about as a result of the "new" flickr which some describe as being more modern and edgy and I describe as a platform that is clunky and not user friendly and barely loads for me now. Suffice to say, everyone has their opinions on this and each to his own.
