A bunch of stuff arrived today from Hobbysearch. I had actually forgotten I had ordered the Chara Form. It was supposed to have been released back in December 2015 but got delayed twice.
I have never ordered one of these before and don't really know what they are. The name on the box says Chara-Forme No. 008 which makes me think there are a few in this line. This is the Zashikiwarashi from Hozuki no Reitetsu. I guess that's an anime of some sort. I haven't seen it but I rather like the character designs for these two and got them because of it. It's almost like they are light and dark versions.
Nishikino Maki Nendoroid. She came with one other face plate and several option arms and hands which is nice. I really love the attitude of this pose quite a bit. I believe she is from Love Live.
Last but not least is Picconeemo Himeno. She is my first Picconeemo and I have to say, I was really surprised by her size. I had seen comparison photos in the past but it still didn't really prepare me for how small she is. She's cute though and her body is somewhat different from the Pureneemo body in that you can pull her top part away from her bottom part which is neat.
And honestly what is with Azone hats and not fitting the doll heads well enough that they don't just randomly fall off?

And last but not least is a photo with Rune who is my lovely model today. I made her headband and am working on a few other things for her. Himeno sits perfectly on Rune's arm.

I think she will probably be shared between Rune and Eve since they both seem to like collecting dolls! But yes, perfect size to be a doll's doll.

They're so tiny. I really wasn't prepared for the size even though I had seen photos of them with Pureneemo dolls ... the reality is still quite shocking. It's disappointing about the hats. I really like the Azone hats but they just never stay on their dolls.

Rune is a cutie. I want to get her a friend at some point but then every time I see her like this, I think maybe I should just spoil her and leave her to play with the older ones!
DeleteThe Picconeemo is definitely cute and I adore this one but can't see myself getting anymore in this size unless they released a Chiika in that smaller size that I would get for a doll.

ReplyDeleteAnd wow, I wouldn't have expected the Picconeemo Himeno to be so tiny - She's really a style that tricks the eye into thinking she's much taller!
Even in comparison photos, it just never sunk in that her scale would be so tiny. Very similar I think in size and height to Figmas. Her body is different from Pureneemo's too so that's something to have to get used to.
