Back to the topic at hand ... I actually got Popster Poppy a few weeks ago but I've had to work extra days at work so haven't had as much time as I would like so I'm posting this a bit later.
As I've mentioned before, she was one of the upgrade dolls on offer for the 2017 membership of the W Club. I was really drawn to her whole appearance. Plus green just works on her.
I absolutely love what Integrity Toys decided to do with the boxes for this series. Poppy stands inside what looks to be a phone box from the front. On the back is a little bit about the collection for 2017.
The nifty box opens out to reveal Poppy displayed against a Union Jack symbol. Because of course, she is in London.
Her COA. I love that they actually wrote what number she was in the edition. In this case, my Poppy is number 718 of 1180 total made.
Love that they used the Union Jack on the base of her stand too. Look at those shoes.
Freed from her box, all prim and proper.
...and she's ready to hit the streets.
I also did a photoshoot for her last week.

Congrats!! She's stunning!! I've seen a few Misty Hollow owner photos this week and holy cow she's stunning, can't wait to see yours!!!! I wasn't too sure on her look, but they proved me wrong. I mean she looked nice but a bit on the darker side for me, wish I had her!!

The box could be used as a prop too, or at least a background if you get the angle right!
DeleteI can't wait for my girl to get here but I'm beginning to think she won't get here till Friday when I will be out so she may sit at the post office all weekend which will really annoy me! The post office she will be left at doesn't open on weekends sadly!
Congrats Alasse! How strange, Misty and Hollow are names of two of my teeny weeny elves, isn't that funny . . . can't wait to see yours . . . I bet she isn't elf like though. :)
ReplyDeleteMy first thought when I saw Popster Poppy was: "What a Great Prop!", I mean you could really have some fun photo shoots with this gal, I already like the one you've done. You do realise you are taking me back to my teen years here, I actually had a coat in that lovely apple green.

No, I can't say my Misty Hollow is an elf! But that's pretty neat that we will share the same names for different dolls!
