This girl arrived back in July 2020. She is a Tonner Doll 16inch Carrie on the Presidio 2005. I've tried several times to take photos of her to show her on my blog however I've never really liked the photos I had. Today, I decided to re-dress her and wow, did that change her vibe.
I think her promo photos showed her hair a bit longer but apparently the final production had her hair shorter. Shame. Not that I mind this hairstyle. It's the same one I have currently but I would have liked her hair to be a bit longer so I could style it or put it up. At this length, not really much I can do with it. Anyway, on to the other two photos I took of her...
I don't know why Blogger has suddenly started making my photos look a little pixelated even though they aren't since they switched to the "new look/style" of Blogger.
I'm glad I was finally able to show my new girl, well old new girl now. I was a bit lazy with the background today as the light was changing fast.
She has an interesting look Alasse, but like you I'm not over keen on the length of her hair . . . most probably because it looks the way mine does right now (and which I might add is giving me the gripes). At least now we are finally out of lockdown.

I'm tempted to cut her hair BUT I'm afraid it might look worse if I did and then I would have to try and re-root and their heads are so darn hard that I don't really want to do that. I re-rooted an IT doll head once and they have hard heads too and I had to constantly heat it up just to re-root. It was super super annoying and took longer than normal. Maybe I will google some bob style hairstyles to try and put her hair into.

Yes I've noticed some weird changes to blogger lately too. But I agree, there is wordpress but it's just too much trouble now to start a new blog elsewhere and I think wordpress is only good if you can purchase your own domain. The free one is okay - I use it for my Sims blog which rarely gets updated, but it's not fantastic. I'll persist with blogger. Been here for so long now!!

Yes I am hosting the images on blogger. No other alternative. I used to use Photobucket until they got silly. Sometimes you can get around the compression. I save my images in png format as I find they give a crisper, clearer result than jpg. And it's been working fine until recently. Oh well.

It's taken me so long to show her off because she really doesn't take good photos. It's strange as all my other Tonner girls take great photos. But this one ... not so much.
DeleteYeah the new blogger has its issues. I don't understand this need to touch and change things that aren't broken. It worked fine before.
She is very pretty, I like her looks! The outfit she has looks great on her.

For me it's just my photos being compressed but there's not much I can do about that as I don't have any other way to host the photos.
