I hope everyone is keeping well, healthy and safe! Miss 4 has finally started at an Early Learning Center two days a week so I will be getting a tiny bit of free time - at least until Christmas as her Center closes for two weeks.
This year has flown by so fast. I can't believe we are already nearing the end of September. I know I say this every year but this particular year seems to have sped by even faster. Having a toddler running around really fills up your day so you start marking days by their activities rather than the time!
I was finally able to have a good photo session this past weekend when we took Miss 4 over to visit with her grandparents. Hubby kept her occupied while I took some snaps of figures I took around there. Unfortunately these days, photos are mostly taken with my phone rather than my big camera. Don't want to have it broken running after Miss 4!!
The first set of photos is with one of my Figma figures. I can't remember the name sorry. She's rather cute though.
Dark Side Rey from Star Wars - I had her on pre-order since last October/November and honestly I had forgotten I ordered her. She arrived last week. I'm quite pleased with her.
And of course, quirky Coraline. I love this figure and am glad we managed to find her here locally from one of the toy stores a while ago. She is so much fun to pose.
I also have a Doctor Who photo session but I will have to post that another day.
I can imagine how busy you are. I bet your daughter can't sit in one place for more than 10 seconds. :) I remember when my fiance's niece was 4. Now she's 10 - time flies!
ReplyDeleteSuch figures are good when you can't take bigger dolls. Coraline is my favourite. :) And she always looks like a curious tomboy.
She definitely cannot sit still for very long. Some days are just so exhausting. Any free time I get these days is precious. Small figures are easy to transport too!
DeleteGood to see you back posting Alasse. Boy that was a long wait for Rey, I can't wait that long any more. Coraline is fabulous, I love the expression on her face, very cheeky!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
X
I had forgot about the pre-order! I don't really have time to wait either these days not that I will be buying dolls for a while. Coraline is a favourite here too.
DeleteIt's great you found some time for photos. :)
ReplyDeleteI wish you all the best! :*
Every bit of free time I get these days is a commodity! So I try to make the most of it.
DeleteIt's so good to hear from you again! Oh yes, the time sure flies awfuly fast, especially when your'e busy and I'm sure you are :)! The whole sessios is great, but I especially like the part with Coraline - she is so brightly coloured and looks great in the garden :). And it seems she's having fun too exploring the wilds :)!
ReplyDeleteTake care!
Right now, time goes slowly for me. Just a lot to do every day and not a lot of time to myself anymore, only late at night!! I still feel lucky to find Coraline when I did and locally too!
DeleteCoraline is always a favorite! Love the movie too! It is great to see you posting again, I know how the time can be something that just 'poof - gone', especially with little ones needing love and care. Take care and enjoy the new month - October!
