There's no place like home

Been down to Brisbane for my sister's wedding the past few days and let's just say, it's a memorable wedding, what with the wild weather, the gale force wind that wanted to knock you over the moment you stepped foot outside and the heavy torrential rain that insisted on pouring from the heavens, it will definitely be a wedding to remember.

Unfortunately, that meant Nyx spent most of the time inside out of the rain and that is always a receipe for disaster. Never let a realpuki get bored.

What to do on a rainy day in the big smoke?

Playing hide and seek has its benefits ... until the novelty wears off...

Never leave fortune cookies laying around.

You'll find them gone and in their place, you'll find a realpuki instead.
Nyx, I don't think you can pass for fortune cookies.

Yes, it's a big big world out there.

The view from my hotel room. On the one sunny day we had down there before we left. It looks almost like that wild weather was a dream with this view, except when you see the fallen trees littering the footpaths on the way to the CBD.

  1. Wow. Gale force winds sound scary! Especially since you're so high up. @ .@
This post has me thinking the world must be very big for a puki. It feels huge to me person sized. xD
