The Mystery Girl

I think I've settled on what characters I see in the bjds. I've made some final changes to the collection (and have even added a new character that I don't have ... yet). I really liked the Inn idea so I decided to go with it. Trying to wrap all the bjds in a single storyline turned out to be a headache. This way, I can pull stories from my stash of story ideas and weave them in as individual stories. A win/win.

UPDATES/NEWS:
+ I managed to sell my Minifee Carl which I am stoked about, now if only my Popodoll 68cm body would sell ... if anyone knows of someone looking for one in WS, drop me a line (I'm on DoA as shirahime)
+ I will be listing my OE Shushu for sale if the person I am currently in talks with decides to pass on her. I finally made the decision to let her go. I am, however, keeping the modded Shushu girl.
+ I'm debating over whether to keep my Dollzone Cosmo head and my Lumedoll Saiph head. I don't really use either heads anymore so it doesn't make sense to keep them around.
+ I am keeping my Bomu head simply for the face up. He will be my display head. I'm hoping to get a Luts head stand for him eventually.
+ I'm hoping to get my hands on a Luts Delf Chiwoo head with a female face up. I think it's an older head but should be able to share the AOD body I have currently. I'm waiting to hear back from the seller on that one.

+ The mystery girl ... if you've recently checked out the BJD Crew profile page, you'll notice a new entry for a character named "Rosalina". She'll be MSD size and I'm debating between two sculpts so far.

The sculpts are Bluefairy Tiny Fairy Robin and Little Monica Elena.

I'm not in any hurry as it will probably be a few months before I can order anyway but I like to procrastinate on these things until they are well stewed and tasty.

The character is a seventeen year old governess who has been hired by Deirdre to help look after her daughter, Rune and provide her with the education and lessons she needs to survive in the world. Unfortunately for the governess, she doesn't realise exactly how 'special' Rune really is. Won't that be fun to discover. How will our earnest governess handle a young girl with the power of old magic at her finger tips?

    Good luck with the Shushu! I really like the modded one, I'm glad she's staying. And good luck with the Chiwoo! Mine was the biggest surprise of my dolls - I could never believe how much I just loved him when I got one. I was never a huge fan of the mold before that. Good luck with the rest too!

    Oh that's a tough choice!! I love both companies (but am partial to LM I think) and Robin is even a mold I would get to replace Raphael if I ever did that. I love the character too, how fun! I definitely want to hear more!

      Thanks! I am hoping the Shushu can go to a good home. I ended up keeping the Modded Shushu with the B-Line body. I kind of prefer the B-Line over the A-Line. And I might end up having her head share if I can get my hands on a Woosoo Vampire Female head.

      I have heard LM bodies are quite neat little posers. The resin looks quite gorgeous and they do have lovely face ups ... I don't know. It will be a while now as I just made a purchase.

    A 17yo governess eh? Well I think I would go with the LM Elena for that character, she has quite an air about her that seems to fit nicely with what you have in mind.
    Good luck with the sales, things seem to moving rather slowly in that area at the moment for me, so I hope things are better in your camp. :)

      I recently discovered the Elena sculpt so I am still researching owner photos but she does have this lovely expression that I like. I have a while yet to think about it. Will have to save or move more resin!

      Not really. I was hoping my Popodoll body would have sold by now as I really want to move that body out but the Carl sold first which was a surprise to me, albeit a good one!

      The second hand market is just so slow in general at the moment.

    So many changes, I'm gld you are putting order with your stories and collection! Both scults for Rosalina are gorgeous, if you have hard time choosing you might try to imagine how each of them fits with the other BJDs you have, and choose from there. I'm sure Bluefairy Robin can look stunning with a better face up (no need to imagine a better face up for LM Elena, LM face ups are always stunning!)

      Thanks for the tip. I might do that. One of the reasons (among others) that I still haven't added an Iplehouse to the collection is the aesthetics would clash a little with the rest of the dolls who are more stylised than realistic. Iplehouse dolls are gorgeous but to me are super realistic in appearance.

      I don't really mind the subtle face up on the Bluefairy dolls to be honest. I am finding I like the barely there look quite a lot lately. But I do agree, LM face ups are really very beautiful. They have some truly amazing dolls.

      I have some time yet to decide, have to sell the planned resins first!
