We start off with Isabelle's new hairdo. I cut her fringe and put her hair into two ponytails. I think it gives her a bit more of a fun vibe.
I also decided it'd be neat to use my new computer case to create some mood photos.
Isabelle investigates an underground facility beneath the resident high school. A mysterious source has tipped her off that a group of shady scientists are looking to create their own Witches.
Incidentally the same place Roger finds himself deposited by the strange Mist that engulfed him. He tries unsuccessfully to contact Dorothy.
I decided to try out some dark grey eyes in Sebastian. I rather like the look for him. I still haven't decided on a proper wig for him yet.

I really hate how this wig sits on Sebastian's head. I really need to buy him a wig asap.
Despite appearances, these two are just best friends. Although they did date for three years back when they were both at University; however they discovered they made better friends than lovers.
This is where that pink wig went to that was originally for Isabelle. The white cap doesn't show through as badly in this shot, but then again, it was a darker room and light wasn't shining directly on the wig. I really love the style and colour on Rune.
Well obviously she can talk to stuffed rabbits as well as real rabbits. A girl of many talents is our Rune.
Yay for ponytails!! I just did the same the other day with Ailene's wig hahaha X)!!! Isabelle looks super awesome! I wish I was still in the age I could pull that off lmao

DeleteIt can be exhausting taking that many photos of dolls in one sitting. The computer background one was done the night before but all the others were done in one sitting in one afternoon. I had a lot more photos but a lot didn't turn out the way I wanted so a lot were binned. These were the best of the bunch. I love days like this though because they are relaxing. I have to savour as much of it as I can as these lazy days will come to an end in the near year when I have to throw myself into the intensive side of job hunting.
Isabelle's hair looks wonderful like that, I love the different colors in her hair~

Sebastian's face-up looks gorgeous and he looks very good together with Eve :3 Rune is such a cutie!
Hmm I might but I'd have to use the Figmas for the photo story as they're small enough but it was a bit of trial trying to get Isabelle's photos without showing the whole computer case!! Food for thought.
DeleteSebastian has since stolen Cedric's wig so now I have to get a wig for Cedric. Musical wigs ... story of the doll's lives.

DeleteI do love trying to find household items to use for backdrops or lighting or atmosphere. It's challenging but satisfying when something turns out the way I wanted it to.

ReplyDeleteYou're definitely right about that Fibula Rasa faceup being too nice to wipe. That warrants a second head for sure. And aren't wigs the worst thing ever?? I swear I almost get anxiety when I have to think about shopping for them. My poor Chibi Unoa has been bald for months now because I just haven't been able to get her a wig. Putting Isabelle's wig in pigtails was perfect for her though. It really makes it "her" hair, instead of another wig.
Rune is so cute!! She needs to meet Baby Alex...they can talk to bunnies together. I'm not really sure Boo counts tho.

DeleteThis year, it's taken me forever just to get proper wigs for dolls that have had temporary wigs for a year! And I still haven't finished. I still have three more dolls to get wigs for but I've been dragging my feet. The current exchange rate between the USD and AUD doesn't help matters much at all. I keep hoping it'll get better but I think that'll happen when pigs fly at this rate.
I want to make an outfit for Rune but I have no idea how to start so I keep putting it off. But then again, I've been watching a ton of anime recently so I guess I use that as an excuse to put it off too!
