Enough with the talking and on to the photos ...
When she first came up for pre-order earlier in the year, I was debating over getting this one but that was after my first Nendoroid arrived and I was a little wary so I didn't end up getting her. She was recently restocked at HS and I snapped her up right away. I had been revisiting her images while she was sold out so I take it as a sign.
Her gorgeous box comes with an equally gorgeous art inside that is actually designed to be used as a photo backdrop. Pretty awesome.
There are three different types of these monsters that she comes with. They stand quite well on their own. She also comes with a blue round disk that I forgot to take a photo of.
She comes with three different expressions, her default (seen in the first photo) this one and a crying/sad expression.
She also comes with this leaf thingy that I will call an umbrella. It works perfect for this shot.
And how can I forget the cookie. Her little pigtails do move up and down so that's fun to play with. I have her displayed like this at the moment in the cabinet but I have her pigtails lifted up like wings.
I'm super happy I decided to just get her. I was looking forward to the two on pre-order but now I am doubly excited for them.

Nendoroid Chino and Nendoroid Nishikino Maki.
My other HS purchase was an additional body for Kirino.
I wanted the swimsuit body but it was sold out so I opted for the Gym Suit Body instead. I originally got this so she could wear the raincoat set I had bought but it turned out it was lucky I bought this. I was trying to get her arms off her original body so I could put in the crossed arms part but her right arm snapped off at the sleeve. I managed to glue it back but now I can't move her arms only her elbows and hands. *sigh*. This is the third figure that I've had to glue. One of my figma figures had a similar thing happen to their arms as well. It's a little frustrating.
Anyhoo ... moving on.
Here she is on her new body looking like she's trying to figure out what the heck she is holding in her hands. Love this expression on her.
I'm really hoping Cu-poche either release another original character from their new 'Friends' line or release the body by itself from that line so I can use it as another body for Kirino. One where she can actually wear fabric clothing. That would be neat.
That's all for this post. Until next time, keep playing!
Ohh I love Noel~!! I also contemplated whether or not I should order that Nendoroid, I ended up not pre-ordering her... She seems to come with so many cute accessories/parts and looks just adorable in photos, so I'm kind of having second thoughts now ;3; Love to see that you got her!!
ReplyDeleteThe extra Cu-poche body is cute as well, I love how there has been many different extra parts released for the Cu-poches (though I've been able to resist ordering any so far). I wish they'd get more popular, that way there might be more characters released as well >3<
Well, you know she's in stock at HS at the moment *wink wink*
DeleteNoel is a real cutie. I absolutely adore her. I have no idea what anime she is from though but I do like her character design.
We can only hope the Cu-poche line gets more recognition. There are fans out there but maybe it's a case of getting the required license for the characters. They are very different from Nendoroids so I think there is room for them as well.
That nendoroid girl looks super cute, I love the photo with the leaf umbrella! It's so well done and looks perfect :D!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting her, I'm glad you went for it, She looks really nice for exhibition cabinets :D
Thank you. That is my favourite photo of her too. The leaf umbrella is just too cute not to use. I tend to play with her hair as I walk past the cabinet and put it in weird positions. It makes her look rather adorable. I might change out her expression tomorrow though.
DeleteI commented on your last post, but I think it got lost in the ether... so here goes another try!
ReplyDeleteI like your new Nendoroid girl! She has a ton of awesome extras! I'm getting a little more into Nendoroids myself. I got a new girl not too long ago, and have a few more on preorder (one of them the latest Link, of course).
It's neat that you've got a Cu-poche and a Pureneemo version of Kirino. I'm giving Cu-poches another try, and I'm hoping they might be here in time for out next meet.
That doesn't seem to just be blogger I've noticed. It's happened to me on Wordpress blogs and blogs with their own domain as well. I've got into the habit of copying my comment and pasting into word in case it gets eaten by the cyber ghosts.
DeleteI'd be wondering if you hadn't pre-ordered that Link. He looks so cute I was almost tempted. Almost. I'm excited to find out who else you have on your list. Nendoroids are addictive aren't they? They're like chips. Can't just have one.
Ooooh another Cu-poche. I'm curious. I hope it arrives too before our next meet up. I would have loved to have gotten the Nendoroid version of Kirino as well but she's long sold out. There's one on Mandarake but it's secondhand and I'm not sure what condition she'd be in.
I haven't even seen the anime she is from yet but her face is just really appealing to me.
All of the nendos are so cute :O I kind of want to buy one, but I'm too afraid of getting addicted to them! I don't need any more addictions xD haha!
ReplyDeleteNoel's Macaron pillow is sooo cute xO
I can safely say that once you get your first Nendoroid, you will most likely become addicted to them. Not only because they are all so adorable but also because they are also so affordable! I love the amount of different expressions they tend to come with. It makes it easy to really convey their feelings.
DeleteThat Macaron pillow looks good enough to eat!
Hi Alasse!
ReplyDeleteI think your little Noel is just the cutest little Nendoroid I have ever seen. :) Love the pic with the leaf umbrella, and she looks sooo happy with that macaron, like she's just about ready to take a huge bite!!
Hugs,
X
Thanks Xanadu. I'm really glad I decided to get her in the end. She's been such a breath of fresh air to have around with all her cute little expressions and accessories.
DeleteI also meant to mention the box, it will make a wonderful back drop. With the way the sides fold it's almost a diorama in itself. Wouldn't it be lovely if all the doll boxes were like that? :)
DeleteIt would certainly make our photo days a whole lot easier! Some of the Pureneemo dolls come with backdrops like this too. Although I haven't figured out how to make those work as well as this one from Noel's box.
