The Big Figure Post: Arrivals

When it rains, it pours is the famous saying and this past week was no exception with arrivals.

Today's post will focus on figure arrivals. We'll start the ball rolling with my much anticipated Makise Kurisu (Stein's Gate) 1/8 scale figure.

Like with everything I seem to order these days, she was first released back in 2010 and although there were still some left of her about a year ago, I procrastinated too long and ended up missing out. She was finally back up for pre-order again back in 2015 for a January 2016 re-release and I ended up getting her this time around.

Nendoroid: Takatsuki Ichika & Photo Day

The new nendoroid that arrived last week, Takatsuski Ichika from Waiting in the Summer. She was first released back in 2012. I was drawn by that vibrant red hair and her cute expressions.

Of Butlers, Cats and Herbs

The herb garden is really thriving which brings a smile to my face. Living in a town that tends to lean on the side of brown and more brown, it's nice to see a little green.

The plant markers were ones I made myself out of DAS airdry clay. I'm currently experimenting with making pendants with this product. They're stamped with the name of the herb (Parsley, Basil, Chives, Mint).

During the online absence, I also received my Sebastian Michaelis of Black Butler fame.

One Hell Of A Butler

I decided to browse around Hobbysearch today to see what's new and found one of my favourite companies, Megahouse, had released a 1/8 G.E.M version of the Black Butler, Sebastian Michaelis. I rather like the anime and really love the figure, plus I don't as yet have a 1/8 figure ... I just had to order him. He isn't expected to be released until April 2015 (unless the release date gets pushed back as is often the case). I've been wanting the Black Butler figures for a while now. Glad I was in time to put this one on reserve.
