Monday's Girls

Earlier in the week, a beautiful box arrived for me with lots of goodies from Kamelia. Today, I will showcase some of the Kamelia brand fashion pieces being enjoyed by some of my dolls. But first, let's begin the post with one of my rarely seen Silkstone girls.

On to the main event....

The Friend Zone

I was lucky enough to win an E-bay auction for my second Poppy Parker 16" Teen Fashion Model. This time, I managed to get Poppy Parker herself in the Winter Wowzers edition however she was being sold nude without any of her clothes or accessories. I'm not complaining as it was a really good price. I think she will go very well with the redhead girl I have. I debated going for another Poppy with a more subtle face screening but because Mallory has such a bold face screening, it might have overshadowed a subtler Poppy so I went with this one.

Promo Photo by Integrity

She will be Mallory's best friend. Now if they release a 16" male for this line, I would most likely add him to this collection but three is more than enough for me in this size.

Running on Air + Box Opening

I've finally got a chance to sit down and do some things today after a very hellish two weeks, more on that later.

First, some box opening photos back from the 11th January. This one was from Amiami.

She is the Merry Go Round Momokodoll. I ended up purchasing her with part of the Christmas gift money I received from my dad. This makes her the fourth Momokodoll to join my collection. I was particularly drawn not only to her outfit but to her hair and eye colour combination. She also looked like a girl who liked to have fun.

It's hip to be blue

I finally got a chance to make some slight changes to one of the Pureneemo girls (and finish a re-root on another doll).

I don't know if I ever had a name for this one. Probably not and still don't. She used to have a small side fringe which I never really liked too much because it looked kind of strange so I ended up pulling that section out and re-rooting with some blue streaks.

Willow's Day Out

Our visitors have left and reality is creeping in again. It was a nice break and very much needed.

I ended up taking Willow with me on our trip to one of the local islands up further north of my town. Sadly I only had my phone camera with me as the big camera was a bit too heavy and valuable to lug around.

She managed to find herself a very bizarre looking coral throne.

My Doll and I

It was a bit of a mad rush as I had to pick this new girl up before work this morning from the post office so I didn't get a chance to take a close look at her until I got home. It was a LONG day!

I'm talking about Rose Quartz Sahra from the Twinkle a la mode line. For those of you who have been reading my blog, you will already know the reason I got this girl was her very strong resemblance to my big Obitsu girl Lira.

I was really excited so didn't end up doing a proper box opening of her. You just get to see the "after" photos. Most Pureneemo dolls tend to come with a standard set of things. Rose Quartz came with only one extra pair of hands but that's okay as I already have a few different hand gestures from other dolls.

Playing Around

Just some photos I took last week that I didn't manage to post up earlier.

Crouching Tiger

Had a bit more of a play with my Picconeemo girl, Sera (Ex Cute Himeno) and I really love that she can do this particular pose. I still have not yet managed to get any of my bjds into something like this yet. I think maybe the Popodoll boy could do this pose but I think that's about all from the bjd line.

Box Opening: PN Kohina

I'm a bit backlogged in box openings. It seems a heap of stuff decided to come around the same time! I have a figures box opening and a unexpected doll purchase box opening to come later.

For today's post, we meet Azone Pureneemo Kohina (from the Character Series line). She is on the XS body and came with option hand parts.

I'm going to keep her name as Kohina, mostly because I like the name. She has a bob style haircut although there are long sections at the back that I might end up trimming to give her a complete bob all around her head.

Oil Mist and New Stuff

I finally managed to test out the Azone Oil Mist I purchased a few weeks ago and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed. My fear was that an "oil" mist would be a little greasy but it actually isn't. I put some on my finger and it dissolved fairly quickly and felt quite light and airy.

I think I will use this on a few of my other Pureneemo girls. I just covered Chiika's face with plastic wrap and sprayed on the mist held about 15-20cm away from her head. It works pretty well. I wasn't overly generous with the mist though and didn't soak the hair in it. Just spritz it a bit on her hair.

Of Monsters and Meets

A few things being crammed into today's post as I had a backlog of photos.

First, my repainted MH girls by Ticuk arrived today and they are gorgeous. I already knew that from the preview photos I saw when they were finished but wow, in person, they are even more incredible.

The repaints were of Freaky Fusion Ghoulia Yelps and Frights, Camera, Action Operetta.

Box Opening: Little Match Girl Chiika and IT Airways Poppy

First arrivals for 2016, Little Match Girl Chiika and IT Airways Poppy Parker.

Chiika is actually a birthday present from my husband even though my birthday is a few weeks away yet but he was okay with me opening her up now.

I was lucky to even be able to pre-order her as I missed the first three pre-orders but managed to snag her on my fourth try.

Christmas Dolls and A Hunt Begins...

An overdue photo batch from Christmas of the dollies that made it to the Wayward Inn, mostly unscathed. I've already posted about the Misaki doll so I won't cover her today.

I'll start with the new Koron girl that I got from my friend who I have named Rina.

She's either a bear or co-ordinate Koron. She has the brown eyes and hair, very different from my blue eyed, blonde hair Koron. I love her to bits. I really think Koron and Chiika may be my favourite face molds from the Pureneemo line.

Happy New Year

A very HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone from the crew at Wayward Inn. Thank you for visiting with us through 2015. We all hope 2016 will bring much happiness and good fortune to all of you!

We have loved coming on this journey with our old friends and our new friends and we hope to bring more adventures in the new year!

Christmas Day Shenanigans

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! We ate too much as per usual but it's the only time of year where there is a lot of nice food.

On Christmas Day, I managed to take some photos but not a lot being that it is one of the busiest days for us in the whole year. I woke up way too early, first by a storm bird and then by a barking dog down the street.

There are two new MH girls added to the collection, a whole bunch of pop vinyl dolls and three big lego sets (one of them being The Big Bang Theory). Where I am going to display all of this is a problem for another day.

But I'll do a photo post on those later. For now, have some Christmas Day Shenanigans.

We'll start with our latest Nendoroid girl, Ichika, who also happens to get up to the most mischief around here...

Woke up to find she had somehow managed to fall into a big bowl of Christmas ball decorations and couldn't get herself out again.

Nendoroid: Takatsuki Ichika & Photo Day

The new nendoroid that arrived last week, Takatsuski Ichika from Waiting in the Summer. She was first released back in 2012. I was drawn by that vibrant red hair and her cute expressions.

Hanging with Dolls

Today will be another big hodgepodge post but with photos. I've been sucked back into Sims 4 and with the new expansion coming out tomorrow (of course I'll be there as soon as the shop opens) I foresee more Sims 4 action. This is all procrastination for avoiding the big boss battle at the end of Titan Quest Immortal Throne seeing as my character died within seconds of confronting Hades and I'm not confident enough yet to try again. I guess I'll be grinding a bit more...

Okay, on to the pretty dolls ...

We'll start with Arianna as the poor thing doesn't get a lot of photo time. I have a thing with pig tails right now.

It's a boy's life

Random photos of the Pureneemo and MSD boys.

We kick off with Loki and Ansel. I forgot to take a photo of Cyril so sadly, he misses out on this post. Ansel (the one with the glasses) is a new boy. I bought him from my friend at our last meet. He is the Detective Boys II Aoto with dark brown hair and green eyes.

Initially, I had bought Ansel to replace Loki (my Alice's Tea Party Aoto) but once I photographed them together and stuck the glasses on Ansel, I decided these two make perfect twins. I will dress Ansel a little more formally when I can decide what I want for him. It seems Azone aren't big on releasing clothing for the XS boys sadly.

New Faces and New Threads

I mentioned in my post yesterday that I came home from the meet on Thursday with some goodies including some new faces ... literally.

But first, let's start off with the girls, Kora and Sif.

I call them my Christmas girls because these lovely dresses made by my very talented friend remind me a little of Christmas.

Thoughts on Blythe and Pullip Clothing

I finally got around to doing some photos for the Blythe and Pullip clothing that I have on a Pureneemo doll.

My models are Willow and Rosaline.  Willow is on the XS Flection body and Rosaline is on the M Flection body.

It's a floor thing

Today, I wanted to show you how I made my wooden floor. Although I've already made it, I hope I can explain it in more detail. To help me out, Willow decided to be my model.

"Let's get started!"
